This project is part of the infrastructure support initiative for the Liuao Coastal Terminal in Zhangzhou, undertaken by Fujian Construction Engineering Group. As a key provincial state-owned enterprise holding dual special-class construction qualifications, Fujian Construction Engineering Group adheres to stringent state-owned enterprise acceptance standards regarding construction materials, equipment quality, and construction specifications. This coastal terminal primarily handles the loading, unloading, and transshipment of infrastructure materials and maritime cargo, with frequent traffic of semi-trailer trucks within the port area. The coastal operating environment is harsh, characterized by year-round strong sea winds, high humidity, and highly corrosive salt spray from seawater. The ground is prone to water accumulation and dampness, making ordinary truck scales highly susceptible to failures such as rusting of steel structures, sensor oxidation and malfunction, and data drift. To ensure accurate measurement of infrastructure materials and compliant project management, the Construction Group selected Fujian Fangda Weighing Instruments to provide corrosion-resistant industrial truck scales for the project.

Taking into account the harsh operating conditions at the coastal dock and the engineering construction standards of state-owned enterprises, we have equipped the project with three 16-meter, 100-ton coastal-reinforced anti-corrosion truck scales. The scale frame is constructed from thickened U-shaped beams welded into a single unit, ensuring high structural strength and uniform, stable load-bearing capacity. It is designed to withstand frequent passage of heavy-duty trailers over the long term, offering excellent impact resistance and minimal deformation. To address the challenge of high salt fog corrosion in coastal environments, the scale body undergoes heavy-duty sandblasting for rust removal followed by a marine-grade anti-corrosion coating. This multi-layered rust prevention treatment ensures resistance to salt corrosion and aging caused by sea winds. The entire unit is hermetically sealed to prevent seawater and moisture from penetrating the interior, making it suitable for the harsh outdoor conditions of coastal operations.

The equipment is equipped with waterproof and corrosion-resistant digital sensors that resist humidity and salt fog interference. Weighing data remains constant and stable without fluctuations, enabling precise control over the measurement of infrastructure materials such as sand, gravel, and steel. This fully complies with the audit standards for state-owned enterprise engineering accounts. We strictly adhere to the construction specifications of the Construction Engineering Group, optimizing and raising the waterproof foundation while improving the port area’s drainage system. We provide a one-stop service covering surveying, hoisting, wiring, and calibration, with a complete set of qualification documents, and have successfully passed the strict acceptance and verification by the state-owned enterprise.

Since the equipment was put into operation, vehicle traffic at the wharf has been efficient and smooth.
