This project case study details a weighing system upgrade at a large-scale sand and gravel yard in Quanzhou. The facility primarily handles the processing of sand and gravel aggregates, stone transshipment, and earthwork transportation, with heavy-duty dump trucks and semi-trailer trucks constantly moving in and out of the site. The worksite is characterized by heavy dust, standing mud and water, and corrosive sand and gravel materials, compounded by the extreme impact forces generated during the loading and unloading of stone materials. Conventional weighbridges have limited load-bearing capacity. Prolonged heavy traffic often leads to issues such as deformation of the weighbridge structure, dust and water ingress into the load cells, and erratic data readings. These problems result in significant measurement errors and frequent maintenance, severely impacting the efficiency of material intake and shipment settlement. To optimize weighing management within the facility and improve the accuracy of trade settlements, the sand and gravel yard selected Fujian Fangda Weighing Instruments for equipment upgrade and replacement.

Taking into account the harsh operating conditions at the sand and gravel yard, we have equipped the client with a 3×16-meter, 100-ton reinforced industrial truck scale. The scale frame features a heavy-duty welded structure with thickened U-shaped beams and a dense arrangement of main beams, providing strong load-bearing capacity. The equipment is equipped with shock- and dust-resistant digital sensors that resist vibration and dust interference. Even under complex operating conditions, weighing data remains stable and accurate, with no data jumps or drift, ensuring precise control over the measurement of sand and gravel raw material intake and finished aggregate output, thereby guaranteeing fair and transparent transaction settlements.
