This project case involves a weighing system for a lithium-ion battery manufacturer in Xiamen. The plant specializes in the processing of lithium-ion battery raw materials, cell production, and the transfer of finished products, and operates within the high-precision new energy manufacturing sector. The factory premises are densely populated with automated equipment and feature a complex electromagnetic environment. Given the high value of raw materials, strict requirements exist for the weighing and transportation of both incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products. The lithium battery production workshops are characterized by fine dust, controlled humidity, and high levels of residual corrosive chemicals. Conventional truck scales suffer from poor interference resistance and data drift, making them unable to meet the new energy industry’s standards for high precision, high safety, and traceability in weighing. Taking into account the precise operating conditions of lithium battery factories, we have configured a 3×16-meter, 100-ton industrial-grade truck scale for the client. The scale frame features a thickened, one-piece welded U-beam structure, ensuring high overall strength and uniform load distribution, capable of withstanding the stable weighing of heavy-duty material transport vehicles over the long term. To address the plant’s high levels of electromagnetic interference and chemical residue corrosion, the scale body undergoes multiple layers of anti-corrosion and anti-rust treatment, while the wiring is fully sealed and insulated. Given the high cost of lithium battery raw materials, high-precision weighing enables strict control over the measurement of raw material intake and finished product outbound shipments. Data is stored in real time and is traceable, making it compatible with the factory’s intelligent management system.
