This project case study focuses on a weighing system upgrade at a large-scale ecological pig farm in Zhangzhou. The farm routinely transports live pigs, feed, and livestock waste, resulting in heavy vehicle traffic. The site is muddy and damp, with high levels of ammonia and a highly corrosive environment. Traditional, simple weighing equipment has poor corrosion resistance. Long-term use often leads to issues such as fluctuating readings, chassis rust, and sensor malfunctions due to moisture, resulting in settlement errors and increased operational and maintenance costs. To standardize on-site material measurement and optimize transportation management, the pig farm selected Fujian Fangda Weighing Instruments to customize a specialized industrial truck scale.

Taking into account the specific operating conditions of pig farms—such as limited space, muddy roads, and highly corrosive environments—we have equipped our client with a 3×9-meter, 60-ton specialized electronic floor scale. The scale frame is constructed using a thickened U-beam, fully welded as a single unit, ensuring a sturdy structure with high load-bearing capacity. It can withstand frequent passage by dump trucks and feed transport vehicles, offering excellent impact resistance and minimal deformation.
